Summary of Plan Updates

Effective September 2011

Please note the following changes to the International Student Medical Plan for the upcoming policy term:

AD&D Insurance — Chartis (formerly known as AIG Commercial)

  • Under the Accidental Death & Dismemberment component of the ISMP Plan, please be advised that the benefit amount has increased effective immediately from $25,000 to $50,000

Out of Country Emergency Medical Insurance — Chartis (formerly known as AIG Commercial)

  • Out of Country Emergency Medical Insurance component of the ISMP Plan, please be advised that the Emergency Travel Assist phone numbers have changed to the following:
Telephone: U.S. & Canada 1-877-204-2017
Outside Canada 0-715-295-9967 collect

Note that the current travel assist numbers will remain active until the end of the year (2011).

Also note as referenced above that AIG Commercial has changed its name to Chartis Insurance.
