The process for submitting claims depends on your type of expense. However, no matter what the claim is, the Plan is designed to help you receive reimbursement as quickly as possible. When covered by the Plan you have an I.D. card to use when visiting a doctor or hospital and most medical claims can be billed directly to the Plan. If you must pay the cost up front, the insurer will reimburse you for eligible expenses within five days.
In the case of an Accidental Death and Dismemberment claim or Emergency Out of Province/Country Medical Insurance and Assistance, you have access to telephone assistance 24-hours a day and can ask for help with your claim.
