• No long waits for reimbursed expenses. Once the insurer receives a student’s claim, it will be paid within five days.
• Direct payment to hospitals, doctors and clinics. The Plan administrator, Cowan will directly pay approved hospital and doctor claims for students.
• Referrals to hospitals, doctors and clinics. Cowan’s Preferred Provider Search Engine helps students find the care they need within their own neighbourhood.
• Students will receive an I.D. card. They can use the card when visiting a doctor or hospital. An I.D. card will reduce delays when students need medical attention.
