About the Plan

The International Student Medical Plan allows international students and their dependents to feel more secure about their health and well-being. Whether they have regular health costs or need emergency care, the Plan is there to help. Depending on a student’s circumstances, that could mean financial help to pay for expenses, assistance in finding a hospital or, insurance against serious injury. Students are also covered by the Plan when they are travelling outside the province in which they live.

The Plan consists of three major components:

• Medical Insurance
• Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
• Emergency Out of Province/Country Medical Insurance and Assistance
