Welcome to the School Board International Student Health Plan!

The School Board recognizes that healthy students make better learners. To help you stay healthy both in and out of school, the plan provides health insurance for international students who are not eligible for coverage under the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP).

Health insurance is mandatory for all international students enrolled with the school board. The Plan provides comprehensive health insurance coverage while you are studying here in Canada and attending school. The health insurance is insured through Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada.
